The Dubai Opera, situated in the new Opera District in the heart of Dubai, offers an enticing schedule which can be likened to that of London’s West End or Manhattan’s Broadway. What can you see in Nepal

Everest base camp trek and Top travel locations to visit in Nepal, an incredible travel destination. Here are some tricks if you plan to tour Himalaya.

Manaslu region trekking is one of the hidden gem in the central north part of Nepal. Manaslu towering at 8167m the 8th highest peak of the world is conquered by few and acclaimed as one of the most dangerous 8000er peak. The Manaslu region trekking gives you an opportunity to walk through one of the most varied landscape due to it’s wide altitude variation. The trek starts from Arughat which is at mere 500m and goes to the elevation of Larkya pass at 5143m. You experience the sub tropical climate to the high mountain climate in one trek. At the end of your trek you also traverse through the section of Manaslu circuit trek making it an ace. The journey is full of scenic locations, beautiful villages, rich Tibetan influenced culture and amazing mountain views. The Manaslu region trek can be done directly through the Larkya or visiting the isolated and sacred villages of Tsum valley. It requires a special permit to get in this region which is still far away from the modern civilization. We can see the Buddhist monasteries, Mani walls, prayer flags all along our way. The region is attracting more visitors in recent years. However, the authenticity and the unmatchable panorama is still intact which the visitors get to see still today. Manaslu region trek is certainly a great way to see diverse Nepal and soak in it’s pure form.

Mentally Prepare. Depending on your level of comfort with the outdoors, you may need to prepare yourself for life in the mountains. Luckily, I am a lover of the outdoors and very comfortable with the mountain life, including camping, bugs, dirt, baby wipe showers, and going to the toilet outdoors! However, for some who are more comfortable with the four seasons than a campsite, you may need to prepare yourself for what is to come. All accommodation on our trek to Everest Base Camp is in small tea houses, run by the local Sherpa people. You will have a bed to sleep in (albeit not the most comfortable bed in the world, but a bed to say the least), in a twin-shared room. There are options for showers lower down on the trail, if you decide to use them, however, many people keep clean by using baby wipes and a bowl of warm water each day. The toilet situations can be difficult at times, as in the tea houses they are generally not Western-style toilets, rather just a hole in the ground instead of a toilet bowl. You will also need to be prepared to use the great outdoors at times when you are on the trail with no tea house nearby. You do need to prepare yourself for these things, as you do not want to arrive on the mountain and have higher expectations and be disappointed.

Trekking in Everest region is the most popular activity of the visitors. The Everest region is the home of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadabalam, Pumori and many other famous mountains. Likewise the region is the homeland of Sherpa people. Everest region is known as the home of Sherpa people and the mysterious Yeti. Everest region trekking destination is located in the eastern part of Nepal. There are several choices of trekking, peak climbing and mountaineering. In this region several well developed trekking trail like Everest Base Cap Trek, Gokyo Lake Trek and many other trails are busy to service the trekkers. Some trails are remote semi-wilderness areas, there is a choice to suit all-corners.

Advices : Have a good first aid kit. Diamox is a must for altitude symptoms. Follow the directions and take 1/2 of a 500 mg tablet twice a day. Make sure to have decongestants, Advil or your choice of pain reliever, lip balm and sunscreen is a must. I had a woman give me salve for my sinuses to moisten them. My nasal cavities dried out and I suffered from severe nose bleeds which were quite scary. I will always have a lubricant for my nose from now on.

This classic Everest Base Camp Trek trek replaces the flight to Lukla with a trekking alternative. We drive from Kathmandu to Jiri on a scenic drive. Our trek starts Jiri passing through the villages of Bhandar, Sete, Nuntala, Khari Khola, Puiyan and Phakding. The trek from Phakding then follows the regular route. This specially designed 20 days trek is for those who want to trek in the Himalayas for an extended period. Find more details on https://www.adventuregreathimalaya.com/nepal/trekking-in-nepal-himalaya-trekking/everest-base-camp-trekking/.

Altitude Headaches – A headache can be one of the first signs of altitude problems. Small headaches are common and should not stop you from trekking or worry you. However, it is worth mentioning to your guide and by all means if your headache gets progressively worse or you have other signs of altitude sickness it’s time to stop ascending or even head down. Altitude Sickness if allowed to progress is serious. If you need to arrange extra days on the mountain we can normally arrange that .

Expo 2020 and 5 top attractions in Dubai

If you didn’t see Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) yet then you should plan to do it very soon. This is a place that any traveler should not miss, a “must see” place it’s how i like to call it. Dubai is know for it’s fantastic architecture , with many spectacular building being built every year but also known for the vibrant nightlife and luxury shopping. What can you see in Dubai ?

Dubai’s architectural, cultural, and maritime heritage is showcased at the Heritage and Diving Village, with displays related to pearl diving and dhow building – two of old Dubai’s historic economic mainstays. There are also recreations of traditional Bedouin and coastal village life, with Persian homes, a traditional coffeehouse, and a small souk where potters and weavers practice their handicrafts at the stalls. Local music and dance are performed from October to April, and visitors can get advice from practitioners of traditional medicine. One of the city’s top tourist attractions, the Dubai Aquarium houses 140 species of sea life in the huge suspended tank on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall. As well as free viewing from the mall, if you enter the Underwater Zoo, you can walk through the aquarium tunnels.

Dubai has the tallest building in the world but that’s not all, it has the tallest hotel in the world too! Dubai is home to the world’s tallest hotel, the Burj Al-Arab. If you can’t afford the $15,000/night luxury suite, try dining amongst the sea creatures in the underwater restaurant! See extra details at Dubai Travel Tours.

Right next to the Burj Khalifa is The Dubai Mall. To call the sprawling development merely a shopping mall is doing it a disservice. Even an entire day spent here isn’t enough to see it all. Along with its 1,200-plus shops and 150 restaurants, the venue is home to an indoor theme park, an ice rink, a huge indoor waterfall, a choreographed outdoor fountain and the giant Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

Another important reason to visit Dubai is the World EXPO 2020. That will be a sight to behold! There’s one year to go until tickets for Expo 2020 kicks off, with the event being held in October 2020, and the world is watching. But what exactly is it – and why should you be so excited? Get ready to experience some of the greatest culture the world has to offer in 173 days of celebration. An expo is a world fair, bringing together hundreds of countries from across the globe – giving them the chance to share ideas and innovations with the rest of the world. The first-ever was held in The Crystal Palace in London’s Hyde Park in 1851, and since then, many of history’s most famous inventions have been exhibited, including the telephone in 1876, the ice cream cone in 1904 and even a humanoid robot in Nagoya in 2005.

This are only a few of Dubai’s attractions and any trip planning must start with squiring an UAE visa. There are plenty of UAE visa providers but i’m gonna recommend the one i used on my last visit which is Sweet Escape. There are 3 types of visas that Sweet Escape Holiday can process for you: 96 hrs (4 days) transit visa. (Entry & Exit has to be from Dubai Airport) 30 day tourist visa (Can enter / exit through any entry / exit point of UAE) and 90 days Long term visit single entry tourist visa (Can enter / exit through any entry / exit point of UAE).

Top destinations in Tibet

Tibet is an awesome travel location, so much history and mystery. The Potala Palace is a symbol of Tibet. The majestic white and red building complex, set against grey/green mountains and blue sky, is an iconic image of the Roof of the World. It is a huge treasure house of materials and articles from Tibetan history, religion, culture, and art. The palace is widely known for precious sculptures, Buddha statues, murals, antiques, and religious jewelry housed within. It is the must-see attraction which is included on almost all Tibet tour itineraries. The number of travelers to the palace is limited each day to protect the building complex. Visiting time for the Potala is limited to one hour per tour group.

Jokhang Temple is a Buddhist temple in Barkhor Square, at the heart of the old town of Lhasa. For most of the Tibetans, this temple is the most sacred and important temple in Tibet. The temple’s architectural style is a mixture of Indian vihara design, Tibetan and Nepalese design. Jokhang Temple is a significant pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists.Although Jokhang Temple is currently maintained by the Gelug school, but they accept worshipers from all sects of Buddhism. There are many important statues and artefacts to see inside the temple. A life-sized Statue of Shakyamuni, Jowo Rinpoche (or Jowo Shayamuni), is a statue of the Shakyamuni of age 12 and is the most famous attraction in Jokhang Temple. The inside of the temple is composed of many chapels dedicated to different gods and bodhisattvas. Do not forget to climb to the rooftop for a fantastic view of Potala Palace and the surrounding area of Jokhang Temple.

Tibet trekking top locations : Mount Shishapangma is one of only 14 peaks reaching 8000m in the world. You can make the dramatic trek to base camp 4980m in as little as a week and if you have an extra few days continue on to Advanced Basecamp at 5400m (17,700 feet). The hiking here is not so difficult as its mostly on decent trails and then across the rockier moraines to the base camp. Most the time trekkers need to arrange to go as part of an organized climbing group but of course will return after meeting their objective. Either way this trek is a great way to get a close look at one of the world’s greatest mountains.

Destroyed by lightning and war, Patala Palace had been rebuilt by the Fifth Dalai Lama in 1645 and since then, it has become the seat of Dalai Lamas and also the political center of Tibet. The 13th Dalai Lama extended Potala Palace to the present size-117 meters in height and 360 meters in width, covering an area of more than 130,000 square meters. Mainly comprised by the White Palace, the administrative building, and the Red Palace, religious building, Potala Palace is famous for its grand buildings, complicated constructions, devotional atmosphere and splendid artworks. The stone-and-wood-structured Potala Palace consists of the White Palace and Red Palace. The White Palace, comprising halls, temples and courtyards, serves as the living quarters of the Dalai Lama. The Red Palace includes various chambers for worshipping Buddha and chambers housing the eight stupa that contain the remains of fifth through thirteenth Dalai Lama. All the stupas are covered with gold foil. The most magnificent stupa belongs to the fifth Dalai Lama. It is 14.85 meters tall and inlaid with pearl and jade. The palace also collected a large number of sculptures, murals, scripture and other valuable cultural relics. There are also many other constructions in Potala Palace which include: the school of Buddhist Logic, the Seminary, the printing house, gardens, courtyards and even the Jail. For more than 300 years, Potala Palace has treasured many culture relics such as murals, stupas, statues, tangkas, and rare sutras. Potala Palace is indeed a must see in Lhasa.

In the center of the North Island, a few kilometers from glittering Lake Taupo, New Zealand’s largest lake, Tongariro National Park is a dual World Heritage Site due to its spectacular volcanic features and its importance to the Maori culture. How to watch Killing Eve in America

So you settled in your amazing destination, the sun is shining and you enjoy a warm day on the beach. You would want to watch BBC TV on vacations. The vacation is great but the geo locations makes you unable to watch your favourite show.

For example, last week i visited an incredible location. Indonesia is an amazing location, so much colour, a must see. Another of Indonesia’s natural wonders, Lake Toba is both a body of water and super volcano. The lake, which sits in a crater, was formed between 69,000 and 77,000 years ago and is believed to have been the result of a catastrophic eruption. The lake is 1,145 square kilometers and 450 meters deep. Volcanic activity is still regularly recorded here and has pushed some islands above the water’s surface. Lake Toba is a study in beauty and the powerful forces at work on the planet. Here, you can go swimming, water skiing, canoeing, or fishing, or stick to wandering the surrounding area on foot or bike.

Here are some shows i like the most, i can’t stay one day without watching, even in vacation! Literary adapter extraordinaire Andrew Davies (Les Miserables, War & Peace, Pride And Prejudice) returns to the BBC with the first screen adaptation of Vikram Seth’s 1993 novel A Suitable Boy. Making her television debut is acclaimed feature director Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding, Queen Of Katwe), who will start shooting on the six-part drama in India very soon. A Suitable Boy is a coming-of-age story about university student Lata (played by Tanya Maniktala), told against the backdrop of newly independent India in 1951. The official BBC press release describes it as “a vast, panoramic tale charting the fortunes of four large families and exploring India and its rich and varied culture at a crucial point in its history.”

Chimerica: This four-part international thriller aired on Channel 4 in spring 2019, and told the story of a formerly celebrated photojournalist trying to salvage his reputation after being accused of having doctored an award-winning photograph. A quality American cast was booked for this one, including American Hustle’s Alessandro Nivola, Homeland’s F. Murray Abraham and The Handmaid’s Tale’s Cherry Jones, joined by the UK’s Sophie Okonedo. Lucy Kirkwood (Adult Material, see above) writes with Line Of Duty’s Michael Keillor directing.

I wanted to watch BBC while i was visiting this location but, unfortunately, the BBC is currently only available to those who are inside the UK, it runs a check against your IP (internet address) and determines where you are in the world. If it finds out you are not in the UK, you will get the error: “BBC iPlayer only works in the UK. Sorry, it’s due to rights issues”. The solution is to reroute your connection through British proxy servers, this is excatly what Beebs does, bypassing the rights issues. You need to be using Google Chrome, download & install this internet browser. Install Beebs. Beebs will automatically refresh your browser & reroute your connection to the UK. Read extra details on Watch british TV on vacations abroad.

Several guides for your RV lifestyle

Road Van (RV) life is amazing. Fun, travel, freedom combined in one lifestyle. But there are many aspects that can be improved, to make your RV life even funnier. RV parking guides : The most important thing for the driver and the person standing outside of the rig is to stay in eye contact with each other. This is entirely up to the person running around outside. If you can see the driver’s face in the rear view mirrors, you are golden. If you can’t, then any kind of gesture you make, including jumping up and down and waving your arms because the driver is about to drive the rig right off a cliff, will never be seen.

Take a look at the tools you use most in your kitchen. Which of these items can’t you live without? Which will you have room for in your camper? You might be surprised at what you find you need (and what you don’t) when you start living in your RV. For example, I foolishly brought along our blender when we left, assuming I’d continue to make smoothies as I did at home. I didn’t use it once and ended up donating it a couple months later. On the flip side, we bought a Crock-Pot a month into our trip because our camper didn’t have an oven, and we ended up using it three to four nights a week. We could plug it in outside and let it simmer all day. It was, surprisingly, one of our most useful kitchen tools, even though we’d rarely used one at home.

When we took delivery of our first RV, it came with a suitcase full of user manuals. It contained a manual for every component in the RV. There was even a manual on Michelin RV tires. We read through every manual and downloaded the online versions as a backup. Having a PDF version will make searching for a specific topic faster and easier. There were also build sheets, diagrams for each fuse box and information on roadside assistance. We referenced all the information many times throughout our first year of RV living. When a fuse goes out at 1a.m., you’ll want to know which fuse box to check. Our first RV had four fuse/breaker boxes and two of them were outside. When it’s pouring rain outside, it’s not fun to run around wondering which breaker box to check.

Short road van pick of the month : I have a Coachmen Class C RV, and the Pursuit is their shortest Class A. I know Thor owns the company now, but this might worth the try if you want to buy a short RV that is easy to drive and fits into most places. It has a ton of amazing features built right in, and they now have a model without slides (that is slightly longer than this). See extra details at short Class A RV.

RV security system pick : Reolink Argus Wireless Motorhome Security Camera: While the first two products for RV security are alarm systems, this is a security camera. The good thing is that it is wireless and powered by standard lithium batteries. This means you will not have wires flying all around. Plus, it doesn’t matter if there is a power problem; your RV is still protected. Also, the batteries can last for about 180 days without replacement. That is 6 months of effective HD camera performance for your RV’s protection.

Many people who dream of having a full RV lifestyle often think that you have to be retired and have loads of money to be able to move from one place to another at ease. However, the real truth is that being rich and retired is not a requirement to live your full-time RV life. The main thing for you to fulfill your dream is to find ways to support yourself. Do you need to enjoy the blue sky and the warm sun ? Miami is a perfect place to relax. What can you do in Miami? Everglades National Park, just a short drive from Miami, protects one of Florida’s most unique natural features. These swamplands, covering about 1.5 million acres, are home to alligators, crocodiles, snakes, and all kinds of birds. This whole area is essentially a shallow river flowing out to the ocean. Within the park is an informative Visitors Center, as well as walking trails and boardwalks for wildlife viewing. One of the most enjoyable ways for tourists to experience the Everglades is on an airboat tour. These high-speed boat trips take visitors out into the marshes and streams to see alligators and other wildlife. There are several operators in the area, but outside the park, that offer tours of the Everglades.

To get to San Blas you’ve got four options. You can fly from Panama straight into the San Blas Islands, take a sailing boat from Cartagena, take a speedboat from Capurganá, or take the bus from Panama City. Most backpackers travelling between Colombia and Panama choose one of these options. For a good reason: Travelling over the land border, known as the ‘Darien Gap’, can be very dangerous . This is a popular drug trafficking route out of Colombia to Panama and is not safe (plus it’s just untamed jungle the whole way!). The people in your group will make it what it is. That’s a fact that you can’t change. But the chances are that most of the people you will meet on these types of trips are open minded, interesting and willing to get to know you. So don’t worry about that too much and just look forward to meeting them. Below you can see the image of our group – representing 7 nationalities: English, German, Chilean, Dutch, Canadian, French and the US. Read more info about Flight tickets reservation.

Mirissa is the ultimate Sri Lankan beach getaway. The beautiful long beach is flanked by tall overhanging palm trees and lined with modern restaurants and hotels. The restaurants have western style food at Sri Lankan prices. Just off the beach is Parrot Rock. It has a small staircase leading to the top that offers great views of the ocean and coastline. Day trips from Mirissa include whale watching, snorkeling and surfing. Weligama, just a few kilometers from Mirissa, is one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka to learn surfing. Come happy hour and into the evening, many the restaurants turn their venues into beach clubs and pump out drinks and tunes. Arugam Bay is revered by surfers. This small town on the east coast of Sri Lanka embodies the quintessential laid-back surf lifestyle. The Main Point surf break is within walking distance from the town center, but is only recommended for advanced or intermediate surfers. Otherwise, Whiskey Point or Peanut Farm are two great surf beaches for beginner and intermediate surfers; a short tuk-tuk ride will take you there. Often elephants and peacocks can be spotted beside the road, just outside of town. The main strip in Arugam Bay town is lined with restaurants and hotels where you can dine on anything from traditional Sri Lankan curry to full English breakfasts.

Thailand and Phuket are an awesome location if you are searching for adventure and ancient history feeling. This is a favorite stop for history buffs and photography enthusiasts, as there are many lovely photo ops in this ancient capital of Thailand. Ruins of this old city still stand proud despite enduring centuries of battle and exposure to the elements. Sukhothai’s Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and much has been invested to restore and preserve one of Thailand’s most significant historical sites. Attractions here include many wats, which speak to the country’s long history of Buddhist devotion. Each structure tells its own story of the old society, with relics and influences from other ancient civilizations appearing in the design of each.

Indonesia is an incredible location, so much history, a must see. Few places suggest wild, untamed adventure like Borneo. One of the most ecologically diverse places on earth, Borneo is home to orangutans, exotic birds, Sumatran rhinos, pygmy elephants, and an array of other creatures. In Kalimantan, in Indonesian Borneo, you can travel down the Kapuas River, the longest in Indonesia; visit villages of the indigenous Dayak people; and observe foreign influences from China, Malaysia, and even Europe in the ports and cities along the way. You can also go trekking in the rainforest for a chance to see some of Borneo’s famed wildlife in person. Bukit Baka-Bukit Raya National Park is a conservation area in West Kalimantan that includes two of the highest mountains in Borneo and supports wildlife such as orangutans, clouded leopards, slow lorises, sun bears, and many other species.
